Photographing
- When photographing your artwork keep it perpendicular to the sky
- Stay away from the glare of windows and metals
- Shoot on a tripod
- Shoot at high resolution
Editing Photos
- 300 dpi for printout, 72 dpi for digital output
- Color correct all images to the match original art
- Contrast correct all images to match the original art
- Crop images to borders, no black borders or frames
- Don’t over edit. It is very frowned upon to present an image that looks better than your own work
Naming Files
- Name separate files for each image, .HR for high resolution or .Small for 72 dpi
- When submitting follow file requirements to the letter otherwise you’ll be put at the bottom of the pile
