This class will focus on the process of pulling imagery from nature to emphasize the formal aspects of painting – color, composition, movement and space. Open to all oil and acrylic painters who are willing to let go, experiment and take chances!
We’ll dive into the history of abstraction, utilizing plein air works in the studio, possibilities through our materials/tools, and color palette strategies.

I loved everything about Tubac School of Fine Arts! From the preparation emails to the wrap up this class has given me a focus on where I want to go with my art!!! Scott has such great knowledge of pigment and a style I can identify with along with a great teaching style! I have found my way forward. Thank you.
