Sonoran Plein Air
In this intensive, hands-on 2 day workshop we’ll explore and paint the scenic backroads and the village of Tubac, tackling both natural and man made subjects. Tubac is a charming, tree filled Southern Arizona village with old adobe buildings, lots of exposed rock and plenty of captivating scenes to paint. We’ll focus on distilling those scenes into simple shapes, values and colors to arrive at an impressionistic result. I’ll do 2-3 demos per day, with lots of individual attention.
